PPSY Seminar "Przywództwo polityczne w czasach kryzysu" || "Political leadership in times of crisis"

Redakcja kwartalnika "Polish Political Science Yearbook", Polskie Towarzystwo Nauk Politycznych (o. Toruń) i organizatorzy XIII Międzynarodowego Kongresu Azjatyckiego serdecznie zapraszają na XXVI Seminarium PPSY pt. "Przywództwo polityczne w czasach kryzysu", które odbędzie się dn. 20 maja 2026 r. w Galerii 44 w Toruniu (ul. Lubicka 44) w godz. 10:30-14:30.

Seminarium „Przywództwo polityczne w czasach kryzysu” poświęcone będzie analizie sposobów, w jakie liderzy polityczni reagują na dynamicznie zmieniające się wyzwania współczesnego świata, takie jak konflikty międzynarodowe, kryzysy gospodarcze, katastrofy naturalne czy dezinformacja. Uczestnicy wydarzenia omówią kluczowe modele przywództwa, mechanizmy podejmowania decyzji pod presją oraz strategie komunikacyjne stosowane przez rządzących w sytuacjach zagrożenia. Podczas spotkania omówione zostaną też studia przypadków z różnych regionów świata, ukazujące zróżnicowane style przywódcze oraz ich skuteczność. Celem seminarium jest pogłębienie rozumienia roli liderów we wzmacnianiu odporności państw i społeczeństw w warunkach niepewności.

Seminarium towarzyszy publikacja w kwartalniku "Polish Political Science Yearbook" (100 pkt. MNiSW), znajdującym się w krajowych i zagranicznych bazach indeksacyjnych, m.in. Directory of Open Access Journals i ERIH PLUS (po uzyskaniu pozytywnych recenzji w ramach procedury double blind review).

Opłata konferencyjna: 250 zł

The editorial board of the Polish Political Science Yearbook, the Polish Political Science Association (Toruń Branch), and the organizers of the 13th International Asian Congress cordially invite you to the 26th PPSY Seminar titled “Political Leadership in Times of Crisis”, which will take place on 20 May 2026 at Galeria 44 in Toruń (44 Lubicka St.), from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The seminar “Political Leadership in Times of Crisis” will focus on analyzing how political leaders respond to the rapidly evolving challenges of the contemporary world, such as international conflicts, economic crises, natural disasters, and disinformation. Participants will discuss key models of leadership, decision-making mechanisms under pressure, and communication strategies employed by those in power during moments of threat. The event will also examine case studies from various regions of the world, highlighting diverse leadership styles and their effectiveness. The goal of the seminar is to deepen our understanding of the role of leaders in strengthening the resilience of states and societies under conditions of uncertainty.

The seminar is accompanied by a publication in the Polish Political Science Yearbook (100 points on the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education list), indexed in national and international databases, including the Directory of Open Access Journals and ERIH PLUS (subject to receiving positive reviews under the double-blind peer review process).
